Mission 8 - hooking cargo

In the briefing it's said to land next to the cargo to hook it. That doesn't seem to work (and I really landed very close to it). In the end I had to hover above it to hook it. Maybe the rope is simply too short? Anybody managed to hook it while landing next to it?

 

Either way, sling load still needs some attention. Depending on rope lenght and weight of the cargo, it can still start to swing around unrealisticly.

I could hook the cargo, stood very close to it. Then I dumped it into the sea... Flying this without NVGs is not fun since the search light is of no real help at all...

Thhis mission is poorly balanced. At night, rainning, long distances and with a cargo. Night vision cannot be used (do they hurt the eyes?). It is very easy to fail the mission, and repeating a mission like this over and over again becomes very boring.
