v2tec Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 I watched some youtube videos and the F/A 18 planes have a digital mfd on the upper middle. In the dcs model it looks like there are some manual knobs. Also the lower left engine screen looks different than in real planes. Is the dcs model an older one or is it just work which has to be done because of the beta? ________________________ ________ ______ ___ __ _ Win10 64 Pro, i7-6800K 3.4Ghz, 32 GB (DDR4), Asus Aorus 1080 TI WF, TrackIR 5 / RIFT, Thrustmaster Warthog, Fanatec Pedals, 55" oled 4k TV, Modules:A10C, KA-50, Huey, AV-8B, FA-18, F-16, NTTR, Persian Gulf _ __ ___ ____ _____ ______ _______ ____________
iKyrThraad993i Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 The Digital MFD Number pad you are seeing is from the F/A-18E or F Model the DCS module is the F/A-18C.
uunilenkki Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 (edited) C models may have UFCDR too. DCS has a non upgraded version. And the lower left engine screen known as IFEI really does have a little more yellowish backlight at least. Edited June 3, 2018 by uunilenkki
