Hello guys. Mission can be downloaded via the link

It's a mixed mission, a great one actually, where you take off from the Krasnodar and fight against RED AI aircrafts and ground units on the Maykhop airbase and the Maykhop city. Job is to take back the city after a 2 day fight....

 

Here is the thing, when I tested it today afternoon, every trigger was working as it was supposed to. Then me and my squadron hosted a server and went to play, only to find out that NONE trigger works. So it's not that only one trigger doesn't work, but sudddenly not even 1 trigger (except ON Mission Start) works. Even if so simple as Radio menu option for flags...

 

Can you please take a look at it and see what could be the thing causing this.... There are only like 10 triggers so it shouldn't take a lot of time to check it out... I have done a lot of missions and never experienced something like this.

Please help me, it's a great mission and I invested a lot of time in it. I want it baack

No, there are triggers that use flags

For example --> 1 trigger adds radio option on the mission start, that radio option triggers Flag 7 when used.

When it is used, nothing happens.

 

There is none Part of group in zone or Unit inside zone type of trigger in this :( But it doesn't work

 

It's a bug and I reported it, hopefully they will fix it as it breakes all the triggers and that would trigger many ppl that spent their time

Nothing strikes me as a red flag as far as the trigger writing is concerned.

 

There are some minor issues with how your AI is set up; i.e.-

 

"New Helicopter Flight" is triggered to fly to a specific waypoint at some point during the mission, but they are not given anywhere to hold before that so they will have landed by the time the trigger goes off, most likely.

 

"2nd Battallion" does not have a clear path to their destination and will likely get hung up on trees and buildings.

 

"Takeoff from runway" does not work in multiplayer. Set your tankers to "takeoff from ramp" or "takeoff from parking hot."

 

I'd say double check all of this stuff, change the "takeoff from runway" aircraft to ramp or hot start, and you should be in business.

 

 

 

I literally just ran a mission with a ton of custom per-group radio trigger content less than 8 hours ago with zero issues whatsoever. There's not a bug with the radio menu.

I have found a bug. Adding Radio transmission (sounds, voice acting) breakes all the triggers before it. I have posted it in the Bug forums section

Takeoff from runway, well I didnt know that... It worked during testing... Helicopters are maybe odd for your style, but it works. Still, thanks for advice.

 

Be careful on adding radio transmissions as it could break your triggers.

When I removed them, everything worked

Interesting, that's a new one. I typically use SOUND TO ALL, SOUND TO COALITION, or SOUND TO GROUP in multiplayer due to radio transmissions being a little on the spotty side in a MP environment as far as players hearing them, but I've never seen them totally break the mission.

 

Re: takeoff from runway, it will not completely fail, but it will assign a random parking space to the aircraft in a multiplayer environment. If you park the aircraft yourself you can often position it closer to the runway.

 

You mentioned you tested in single player, so neither of those particular problems would have reared their head.
