Andysim212 Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 I tried last night but there was no option to get wingman to refuel at the tanker, I looked in all the comm options and refuelled before him as I know that's required but he did nothing. Cheers

Actual i dont know the answer but i could read about a similar question via. google and it say...: DCS is not capable of rearming and refueling AI. ( the answer is many years old ) But as far as i know I dont think the AI wingman can refule. ( i could be wrong) I think it would be wise to give your wingman unlimited fuel in the advanced waypoint tap or something like that, or at least give him extra fuel tanks. I think especially with the f18c the f18 wingman uses way to much fuel all the time since he uses the afterburner to much. The f18 is very thirsty

Andysim212 Posted June 6, 2018 Author Posted June 6, 2018 im 100% sure you can get the Warthog pilots to refuel, without building it into the mission. They have the radio option "Go to tanker". Pretty sure I did it with the Hog anyway.

johnco61 Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 Yes I get my wingman to refuel at the same time as me with f15, m2000, and a10 just by using the coms go to tanker but this is not available in the f18 for some reason
krusty974 Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Good morning gentleman, I never tried to get my wingman (A10C) to refuel until yesterday. I managed and here is how. Approach the tanker and fly to his left wing just a bit aft of his position. Tell him you intend to refuel. Get your wingman in close formation. Tell the tanker you'r ready to refuel. Instruct your wingman to "Hit the tanker". The wingman slowly closed in to the tanker and connected. Took him forever to complete. This worked for me :-) What i still have to figure out is how to quickly tell him to disconnect and get back into formation. It seemed like he had to go all the way trough his own process before he decided to get off the tanker and rejoin me.. Anyway I hope this helped. Cheers.
