Landscape disappears when switching aircraft views.

Hey guys,

 

With the most recent update I've noticed the entire landscape disappears for about 30 seconds when I switch between the 3rd person aircraft views. All I can see is an ocean and static models hovering above it, after about 30 seconds it all starts popping up.

 

I already did a clean and repair to the DCS file system. Still same result, not wanting to nuke and reinstall all over again.

 

Has anyone else experienced this? I'll try to get screenshots later today.

Confirmed. It does happen frequently but not always.

R390x nitro, 16gb memory, i5 4,5ghz.

Same issue here, my Open Beta is on a HDD, and the game takes more than 30 seconds to reload the terrain around every time I change view.

I suppose it's because the memory manager unloads textures to limit RAM usage, but I preferred when DCS was taking avantage of my SSD as virtual memory.
