AMVI_Vinci Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Hello everybody, I had a pre planned flight plan (waypoint 1 to 6) on sequence 1. I wanted to insert waypoint 1 on sequence 2 and change it's coordinate. The result is that no matter what sequence you modify the UFC will always change waypoint 1 on sequence 1. Am I the only one? Thanks
Terrificfool Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 I think the waypoint database is just that: a database of waypoints. And a waypoint sequence is a sequence of those waypoints from the waypoint database. Thus, there is only one waypoint 1, one waypoint 2, etc. In the sequence programming you are just selecting which waypoints, and in what order, constitute a particular flight plan (very similar to the A-10s flight plan and waypoint database).

So you can only use a waypoint number once? Not a big deal if that’s the case. Yoda967 Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 You can use a waypoint more than once, as you saw with WPT 1 being in both SEQ 1 and SEQ 2, but it's the same waypoint in both sequences. If you want a different waypoint in SEQ 2, you have to add another waypoint. AMVI_Grape Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 But, is possible to add the same wpy more than once in the same sequence? Thanks No. The manual reports: 24.2.5.5 [...]A waypoint/OAP cannot appear more than once in sequence, however, a waypoint/OAP may be entered in more than one sequence.
Madgunner Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 No. The manual reports: Thank you very much Gatling4ever!!
