Baitball Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 I noticed that my aircraft has a tendency to roll in either direction (mostly right) with zero input from the stick. At first I thought it was due to weapon deployment from one wing or the other, but it kept occurring at various and seemingly random times of flight even with perfectly neutral payload. I have a dead-zone of 4 and a curve of 15 on my Roll axis, and my stick is not registering ghost movement in either direction in the settings page (untilI physically move it) Has anyone else experienced this?
Shimonu Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Is it a violent roll or just a slight one? Check that you don't have several controls mapped to the same axis. Typically rudder and stick sometimes get the same input, so your rudders will control both roll and rudder for example.
bradleyjs Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 (edited) Shimonu is right - it has caused me problems several times. I just got a new rig 3 days ago and had to re-bind all controls because the GUID in the .lua filenames didn’t match between systems when I copied them over. Edit: I realized yesterday that all I probably needed to do was change the filenames to match. But, I was mostly complete with the re-bind when I noticed it. This is also a new rig (Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS). I remapped each axis and each function on the rig manually as well so I'm a bit confused?:joystick:
Baitball Posted June 21, 2018 Author Posted June 21, 2018 Slightly asymmetric thrust maybe? While I wait for my 3D printed afterburner detent, I have disabled the warthog afterburner detent and am using the sticks independent of one another. RCtl+Enter and cockpit engine parameters both show symmetric thrust:huh:
