Is there a difference

Ok I have a second dcs account on my old laptop for using the. Mission Editor and as a multiplayer server. It has the maps and default aircraft. I’m creating a mission for hueys I set them up as clients. But since this computer doesn’t have a huey mod installed it acts as an ai aircraft when I run the mission in me, and assume when run regularly. I use f2 to select the huey I wish to watch.is there a difference between setting it up as a ai from the start or not running it on a system with the mod?
