If a tanker runs out of a gas, is a new one spawned in its place?

Just wondering, online, sometimes the tanker denies a pilot fuel but gives it to the next pilot. We see tankers landing as well during the training missions.

 

 

Is the sim spawning new tankers airborne with full fuel loads to replace tankers that have run out?

No, any replacement tankers have to be scripted / added in by the mission designer.

 

 

If this has not been done the tanker will land and nothing will replace it.
