BlacleyCole Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Well I’m thinking about building a series of sequential missions to follow a combination or USA fog syllabus and the 23fts syllabus. Between the two would provide ground school, simulator missisions plus training missions until the course is complete I don’t have the syllabuses in front on me but do realize the first 10 are ground school without an aircraft beining available sim or real. After that there is a ground school with some flight time. Then you hit the simulator for eps 6 missions of then then you get in to the actual flight training of the aircraft and thethis phase I believe come the basic warfighter training then from there the advanced warfighter skill s section and iirc the last is on sling load trading and other specialized tasks. I’m thinking based on the number of flights in the syllabus something around 120 iircbetween all three phases. I was Donna condense them down as much as possible. For the 10day nonflight day. Session I was thinking of condensing it to two days first mission basic an intro with commanders breifing and the other require briefing super the syllabuses. Then the second mission a follow up review of the info in the first mission and a review using chucks guide for the aircraft in a wand a format using either multiple choice probably using the radio menu other option if I’m not able to figure a better way . The sim mission I’m thinking will be flight missions instead especially if I can figure out the way to create the failures I need after reviewing it verbally first then tinge a few minutes after the last question the first failure proceeds the first two are hot start and hang start then get pass both those and the several other eps for that mission then have the flight to the farp. Ok here’s why I posted the above the first mission is to provide the student packet of files needed per the syllabus plus chucks guide and blank cards that will be used through the course over and over so the student will be able to print the out as needed for each flight for several.of them. Plus give them their destination farp so they can do the flight planing and other stuff and have it reviewed before the third mission. So two missions before the flight you will be given your destination fat and aircraft config and weight. The second mission is a review of several of the manuals, and chucks guide. Plus a spill on figuring you torque rsetingspower settings, ca, etc the do e review of chuck guide sorta plug get your second flight mission info If you were in a squad and were given you this type of initial training whether you were new or very experienced would you follow along each mission will be between 1-2.5 hours in length the shorter times are the non flying missions. As much as possible the ai or text/sounds will be within the mission if a video is required for training it will pause the mission see a you tube video the resume the mission weather a ground training or flight training mission. I’m working on it a lot will use cockpit highlight and similar ,process techniques tocheck your settings and reading and comparing to the desired ones. If your reading is a little out and has a minor or nor effect it just will be annotated if it’s where it might cause a problem the ai ip will point it out and expect immediate correction it the reading is so far out that it effects safety the op will haut training and take over control a Nd hen hault the mission. Does this sound like great training o you? BlackeyCole 20years usaf XP-11.
