Does the radar code take into consideration environmental factors such as diffusion, attenuation, and inversion if you're adding humidity to the engine?

 

Also, do you simulate radar horizon based on curvature of the earth?

Not.

The essence of radar is very complex and multifaceted. The actual propagation of waves depends on a number of not always obvious factors. Suffice it to say that even developers of real radars can not completely model their products in laboratories, they are forced to put radars on flying testbeds and gather data in real environments.

In a nutshell, this is not a very simple for game and we did not take it into plans.

 

For other hand we want to take into account an athmospheric features for optical and IR sensors. It is worth for combat game.
