Immediate Crash on Startup

I've just reinstalled DCS on the latest windows insider Build 17730.rs5 and I'm getting an immediate crash on launch as soon as the updater process completes.

 

I've tried cleaining, repairing and removing the saved games folder with no luck.

The DCS.log looks very similar to the problem reported in final post of this thread on problems with windows v1803 which refers to ticket #77538 but I can't see any follow up on whether that problem was resolved

After updating ED Open Beta 2.5.3.21107 and Windows 10 Insider Build 17751 it's working again so I can finally try out my Yak-52 !
