Can I just make a mission with my F2, M2000c etc. and take off from carrier?

I honestly didn't know where to look or ask. Is the carrier limited only to the Hornet? I'm newer so not quite ready for the Hornet but would love to run a mission or two (or play anyone's pre-made mission) where I can involve my jet and a carrier!

The mission editor won't let you start an M2000 on the carrier however.... if you make the carrier point into 90 mph winds you can land on it in the M2K ha ha ha!! Really, just get the Hornet. It's badass fun to fly. I won't fly it online yet because of the IFF. It's just too hard to tell. Anyway, I'm loving the Hornet. It's nice to take the systems in 1 at a time too.

 

As a side note.... the M2K is probably my favorite module. Man I wish it had a tailhook!! The only other plane that does carrier ops is the SU-33 I think (or choppers) so it's a no go with anything else.

As of this writing, the only carrier capable aircraft are the F/A-18C, the Su-33, and the AV-8B.

 

Tomcat on the horizon though! :)
