fitness88 Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 Does multiplayer forum automatically slot you in the appropriate server based on your version? If so how big a difference must there be in the version number? Thank you.
Grimes Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 Generally it is the minor patch number. 2.5.2 is what the release build is on right now. The new open beta is 2.5.3. So they shouldn't be able to see each other. Though I think it is something ED can set manually in the game files somewhere. 2.5.2.20601 - current release 2.5.3.21016 - current openbeta Versions on the same patch but different revision number, the 5 digits at the end, tend to be compatible in MP. At least you could connect but random issues may exist. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
