wuffman Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Following the version merger update several weeks ago DCS no longer recognizes button #15 on the joystick. Identified as H4U Up DX 15 of the CMS (Countermeasures Management Switch). Have checked integrity of hardware in Control Panel. Also the switch works as usual in ROF, Clod, and IL2. Has anyone else had this issue? I like to bind the instant zoom to this. I fly only props, so can't report on jets. If this is the wrong place to post please advise and I will migrate. Good Day ~S~
DDSSTT Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Try deleting your joystick lua. I use that button every time I fly and it works fine for me. A few weeks ago they changed the reference for the Joystick/Throttle and its probably still messed up some where. Just reprogram the stick from scratch [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://www.csg-2.net/
wuffman Posted September 3, 2018 Author Posted September 3, 2018 (edited) Thank you, always a fun time for me ; ) I'm not that good at saving correct profiles and finding them later... Of note is that when I go to controls menu in DCS and select that switch it does not trigger a response. Manually bound it to several functions; none worked. Do appreciate the reply. Take care - Edited September 3, 2018 by wuffman
DDSSTT Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 If I read that right... you do not know where the lua are stored? If so, then they are located here: C:\Users\YOU\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input from there, pick the module giving you problems, in the joystick folder delete the "Joystick - HOTAS Warthog {XX##}.lua... Then start DCS and redo all the joystick bindings [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://www.csg-2.net/
