I had sticky hotas and rudder, hard to fly helicopter with them or using toe breaks while staying in the center of the runway in a jet. I've been reading the fix was silicon grease. so I finally went and buy one.

As I am opening the bottom of the throttle I notice a screw in the middle top that moved with the throttle.(visible from the bottom when throttle is at full). turned out that is the stiffness control, I loosen it and now it just glides and it would just slides down if you tilt the whole thing. no big deal since I normally have it bolted down on my desk.

Now for the rudder, turned out there is a small latch that looks like a battery slot. inside it is a spring to keep it centered. I replaced it with 2 rubber bond.

now who wants to buy the silicon spray that I bought?

Trip back to the store will cost me more lol. I just wished I’ve known this before and have not wait months with crappy hotas and rudder.

I just finished one of the Mi8 campaign mission picking up troops while hovering on a side of very stip mountain.
