I dont think anyone has noticed this at all, its not much of a big deal to those that have standard 110 key keyboard. My laptop has an 80(ish) key layout and half the commands arent recognized by the keyboard. Trying to get around this problem Ive purchased a 110 key keyboard for the laptop and still the keys dont fit their supposed assigned key.

For instance:

1. I cannot get the scoreboard to pop up in multiplayer.

2. I cannot get to the comms menu.

3. Various keybinds for other key elements are a no-go, such as shift-L for lasing targets.

4. No Home / End to engage startup procedures.

5. Dont ask about head movement on the 80(ish) keyboard. No keypad.

6. The MFD zoom function exists with some strange key combination that I care not to look up in the menu.

7. The scan zone on the F-15 radar shows up BVR as a narrow beam scanning very limited area. The scan depends on altitude but the volume of space searched is negligible, as in at 80nm range, the elevation bars depict between (for instance at altitude 10,000 feet) 5-5 instead of the 0-25. THIS is a no-go of flight for me.

None of these key commands are listed in the docs folder, and think how hard it will be if one has to program his stick for the first time with an 80(ish) key keyboard.

Reassigning all these keys for my 110 keyboard is going to be a mother of a task, not to mention that using this 110 key keyboard over my 80(ish) keyboard reassigned all the keys on IT, and now I have to figure a way to get the keyboard to go back to the default keystrokes. Does anyone at ED understand this problem or has this been overlooked completely?
