h8cru Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Hi all, I have a registered LockOn 1.12 working on Windows XP SP2, all ports free for LockOn. My first problem is that I can not connect to servers via the LockOn internal IP menu. The computer seems to be calculating for a while when I pressed start and then returns to "start". Second problem is that when trying to connect to a server with Ubi.com ( I installed and updated the Ubi.com software and allowed access to the internet) I can not join the LockOn Retail Lobby. I click the Lobby Button but nothing happens. What can this be? A Macromedia failure? Please help me 1. how to join over IP 2. how to join the Ubi.com LockOn Lobby Thanks a lot, h8cru
ED Team Groove Posted June 14, 2007 ED Team Posted June 14, 2007 you need the exact IP and the password if there is one have u ever tried hyperlobby ? Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
h8cru Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 Yes, I have tried with HyperLobby, but this doesnґt function either. LockOn starts, I see LockOn-Window with the map, but it does not connect. Normally the coalition window should open so I could join a fraction, but this never happened. I tried the IP of some public internet servers (RAF / 169th / etc...) without success. Itґs even not working when a friend hosts a server and I type exactly his IP. I need help how to enter the Ubi.com LockOn Retail Lobby ! ! !
S77th-konkussion Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 You have a router? [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
ED Team Groove Posted June 14, 2007 ED Team Posted June 14, 2007 Usually a router shouldnt be a problem because it should open the right port while you open the outbound connection. Can you connect to other Multiplayer games ? And please try the following: Let your friend open a server with the port 21 or 80 or 110 afterwards connect to his server using <IP>:<PORT> Report back afterwards :D Maybe your ISP is blocking this port-range. h8cru Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 No router @ S77th-konkussion I have no problems with any other Multiplayer Games and I will report after having tried this way @ Groove But what would be most interesting: What could be the reason that I can not enter the Lobby in the Ubi.com-Software ???
h8cru Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 Ok, now I made a great discovery ! I own not 1.12 but 1.02 ! ! ! Does this make any differences ???
Brit_Radar_Dude Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Can make a big difference. You have to have the same version. Youwill find most everyone on HyperLobby is v1.12, not sure about UBI, I think there are some v1.02 and some v1.12 ?? Sometimes the name of the Lobby helpfully contains the version used. h8cru Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 He has the exact same version of LockOn as I have...
S77th-konkussion Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 One of you could host a game and the other should be able to join it. You need 1.12 to join most public servers. If any are running 1.02 they would say so very clearly. At this point- it's very unusual. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
