Beetle
I seem to have reached the limit of my skinning knowledge when it comes to the LUA file. I cannot find anywhere that helps me, so I am turning here: I have modified three files from the F/A18 template, they are now .dds files sitting in the appropriate folder on my pc. The problem is that there is no trace of an LUA file in the template package, and I don't know what I am doing if there were one. I have tried modifying LUA files from other downloaded skins, but as I havent a clue what I am doing, I tend to fail. Thanks in advance. VNAO, CVW-14, VFA-146. Bobik2002
Welcome on forum! When I started so I took the DCS World OpenBeta \ CoreMods \ aircraft \ FA-18C \ Liveries \ FA-18C_hornet \ Any skin I put that in folder with my texture and just changed names For example, from "F18C_DIFF_UK" to "F18C_DIFF_your texture name" And copy your skin to f-18 liveries and its done. I do not know how to explain it better Edited November 14, 2018 by Bobik2002 Ryzen 9 5900x | 32GB DDR4 | RTX 3090 | 32GB RAM

Beetle
I notice the files in other skins have a "DIFF" file which appears to be made up of four texture files. When do I combine the modified texture file with the other unmodified files, .png, .bmp, or DDS? ...and why is this not mentioned in any tutorials I have seen?
