Thanks - this was covered in previous pages of this thred - no offence but i don't want to get involved with ED in any shape or form in regard to 3d models and modding

 

As i said i am shipping out of here soon re playing Lo for a while , so i will take it somewhere else - as i said if Arma turns out to be as good as i hope - i may want to donate some models over to that community to add in )

 

I will just accept the situation as is now , and accept its time for me to move along

ok well , what needs to be done is clearly laid out and stated back in previous pages of the thred

 

it involves using 3d max to uvw and unwrap etc , and then skin , animate in accordance with the lo engine rules and use the plugins to export the finished job out to a lom file to use in game Lo and publically share - all stuff i have no clue or experience of !

 

there is a uvw tutorial in the sticky at the top of the 3d forum - shows how to uwv / skin a spaceship etc

 

no offence to you , but it probably needs to be done by someone with previous experience of the relevant processes - basically its the same process that is being applied to the new A10 .

Well its friday , and i just collected my new pc , a day later than expected ,becoz it failed a burn in test , due to a faulty strip of ram.

 

I am off now to set it up how i want it - currently typing still on the old pc here now.

 

Anyway , just wanted to say Goodbye the Lo forums , as i am off to explore new games and

stuff , which i have missed out on playing over the last few years ,due to old non compliant old hardware.

 

I don't know when / if i will come back to Lo and 3d stuff ,tho i can still be contacted

via private message off the forums here , as it links to an external email address i check occasionally
