Timotsuky Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Hello, saw that we cannot carry two mav's/bombs per pylon i hope we will be able to do it later..
Nospin44 Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Our F/A-18C only carried one Mav per pylon. So it is modelled as such.
Archaic Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Would be nice if they also limited the A10 to combat loads. i7 - 9700k | EVGA 1080Ti | 32 DDR4 RAM | 750w PS | TM Warthog HOTAS/X-55 | Track IR 5 |
Kid18120 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Would be nice if they also limited the A10 to combat loads. Why would you do that? True, the A10 does have combat loads but is also able to carry more, as such the aircraft in DCS is able to carry more stuff and it's up to the user to choose the appropriate loadout. Also combat loads are usually standardized within squadrons and not necessarily are the same for everyone S! CheeseCake Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 i think what he is referencing is in real life you dont load triple rack mavs as the inner ones burn the rear landing gear
backspace340 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 i think what he is referencing is in real life you dont load triple rack mavs as the inner ones burn the rear landing gear It's comparing apples and pears though - the 2005 Navy Hornet couldn't load more than one Mav per pylon as they never fitted the double-rack to the Navy legacy Hornets, the A-10C had a triple rack available and there are photos of it loaded with three Mavs on the triple racks. One was impossible for the aircraft being modelled, the other isn't.
