LimitedLiability Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 So, my X56 stick was jittering in the X axis near center. Normal Re-calibration was having zero effect. I had uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, MadCats software, Logitech HUD... all to no solution After hours scouring the mighty Youtube and Dark Web, I ran across this bit of info off the now defunct Saitek site.(was redirected to Logitech) Unfortunately I don't know and have not found the Registry edit this talks about and I don't need to at this time. This "Factory Reset" did the trick and I am now smooth again. Hopefully you did a search and found this right away. https://support.logitech.com/en_gb/article/Recalibrate-the-X56-H-O-T-A-S-Axes-Firmware RECALIBRATE THE X56 H.O.T.A.S. AXES: FIRMWARE Updated: 07/12/2017 07:36 AM If you need to re-calibrate the X and Y axes of the stick, you should use the calibrate function in the HUD software. Go to the Settings, select the stick, and in the bottom of the window, click Calibrate. For all other axes, please follow the X56 RegEdit Calibration instructions If the RegEdit fix does not work then follow the instructions below: NOTE: You must always perform the clear axis calibration step first, before the main calibration step. THROTTLE Clear axis calibration process for Throttle: Hold down TGL3 down and TGL2 up whilst plugging the throttle in. Then press TGL4 down and TGL3 up. Clear calibration is completed when all lights go out. Unplug/Replug the throttle. Axis calibration process for Throttle: Move all axes to max and min twice. Press and hold TGL4 down, TGL3 down, TGL2 up together. Calibration is completed when all lights go out. STICK Clear axis calibration process for Stick: Hold down button A, HAT1 up, Flying Pinkie, Mini stick button. Clear calibration is completed when all lights go out. Unplug/replug the stick Axis calibration process for Stick: Move all axes except main stick X/Y axes to max and min twice. Move the Main stick X axis all the way to the left and then press the Trigger, button B and button D. Calibration is completed when all lights go out. :joystick: You will have to unplug and replug in the stick after the last step, I sat there for a couple minutes waiting for it to come back on.... it didn't:D 1
