Capn kamikaze Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 In the mission editor we can set the JTAC to request general types of weapons, such as a laser guided bomb or a ATGM etc. Would it be possible to make it so we can specify a particular weapon, for instance if I have different types of LGB's or different types of Mavericks, I can set in the ME to use a particular type, eg the Mav-E. The reason I ask is that I'll set up a JTAC to lase a target, with the intention to use a Mav E, and often I'll hear the JTAC specifically "request AGM-65D", just because I also have those for more flexibility and additional non-designated targets. In all practical terms, it doesn't matter at the moment, since he still lases it and you can still fire, it's more to do with the fact that you don't need him to be lasing a target for a D, and unless you have a targeting pod to spot the laser you can't know where it is, since the D won't see it, so it's a bit pointless.
