Harlikwin Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 So I'm trying to install the AV8 profile found here in the user section. Run target, run the Combined AV8B-NA.tmc This then spits out some text. I leave it running. Power up DCS. In the controls I see the virtual contoller Goto "change profile" It doesn't "see" the .diff files unless I select all files, but I goto add it and nothing happens Same for the Axis diff... The stick works without the virtual controller just fine and I can map stuff to it just fine. Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong? David OC Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 You should just be able to bind the axis yourself manually in DCS. I use CH gear, so I'm guessing you will only need to bind the axis and the fire button etc. " The profile will do the rest at a guess, so just clear out then bind what your missing in DCS manually. i7-7700K OC @ 5Ghz | ASUS IX Hero MB | ASUS GTX 1080 Ti STRIX | 32GB Corsair 3000Mhz | Corsair H100i V2 Radiator | Samsung 960 EVO M.2 NVMe 500G SSD | Samsung 850 EVO 500G SSD | Corsair HX850i Platinum 850W | Oculus Rift | ASUS PG278Q 27-inch, 2560 x 1440, G-SYNC, 144Hz, 1ms | VKB Gunfighter Pro Chuck's DCS Tutorial Library Download PDF Tutorial guides to help get up to speed with aircraft quickly and also great for taking a good look at the aircraft available for DCS before purchasing. Harlikwin Posted December 2, 2018 Author Posted December 2, 2018 Oh I see, so when you use the profile the bindings don't show up in the "tabs"? David OC Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 They wont show up because they are pressing keyboard commands and match the ones in sim. You can test this my launching DCS and go to the control options of said aircraft, then hit the buttons on the hotas. It should jump to and highlight that command that's been assign in the software. Example: TMS up on the stick, it should highlight TMS in the menu. The "external" software will not bind an axis or mini stick, you need to go and bind these yourself. Some recommend (Depends on profile) to also bind fire buttons in game as a DX command and not a keyboard command. i7-7700K OC @ 5Ghz | ASUS IX Hero MB | ASUS GTX 1080 Ti STRIX | 32GB Corsair 3000Mhz | Corsair H100i V2 Radiator | Samsung 960 EVO M.2 NVMe 500G SSD | Samsung 850 EVO 500G SSD | Corsair HX850i Platinum 850W | Oculus Rift | ASUS PG278Q 27-inch, 2560 x 1440, G-SYNC, 144Hz, 1ms | VKB Gunfighter Pro Chuck's DCS Tutorial Library Download PDF Tutorial guides to help get up to speed with aircraft quickly and also great for taking a good look at the aircraft available for DCS before purchasing.
