Jazz6500 Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask. What is the technical term for the live data like airspeed, altitude etc which I can use and extract in real time from the plane I am flying in DCS? Also I am looking for live data like "gear is down", "Autopilot is on", "Navigation lights are on", "current flap position" etc ; is this data available to use outside of DCS in real time and if so what is it called and how would I go about accessing it? I would like to implement it into programming switches on my HOTAS. Thanks in advance.
Varis Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Maybe could be more a mods & apps (scripting/editing) related thing. Technically it's output of course. I think some people use the term https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telemetry SA-342 Ka-50 Mi-8 AJS-37 F-18 M2000C AV-8B-N/A Mig-15bis CA --- How to learn DCS
Capt Zeen Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Using the export.lua you can access to all the information of the airplanes in real time. If you want to use that info for hardware, i recomend you to take a look to DCS-bios, with that you can get all the data you need. and of course, visite this section of the forum: https://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=101 Capt_Zeen_HELIOS PROFILES_WEBSITE Capt_Zeen_Youtube Channel
