Harmer Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Need a bit of advice here. Having got JTAC working quite well for my Hornet group Ops in the ME with the new GBUs and MavEs, it seems that when I put a flight down consisting of 4 Hornets (grouped as one entity), that only the 'flight leader' in slot 1 can raise and interact with JTAC via the radio menu. If instead, I put the four Hornets down as separate entities, then it seems each can interact with JTAC via the radio menu. Anyone confirm or deny this rumour? johnv2pt0 Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 Yeah, it's a limitation of the current radio system. This also applies to other things like tanker, awacs, etc. I wish this wasn't the case... If you're going to have multiple clients in a mission, then always make them separate groups. Setting up flights is only good for AI or single player missions.
SGT Coyle Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 May be off topic. How many player groups can you place in a mission? How many groups total? Is there a limit? I've played games where there was a hard number of groups (Player or ai)you could put in a mission. Night Ops in the Harrier IYAOYAS
feefifofum Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 There is no hard limit to the number of units, but performance will obviously suffer as your active units start numbering in the high hundreds/thousands. As for number of simultaneous players in MP, that is an option set by the server machine. THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
