VR Issue coloured blobs DCS 2.5.4.25729

Hey guys,

 

 

I haven't been on VR in a while but after updating to 2.5.4.25729 it seems like i get a white/yellow/red blob almost like a smudge across my VR screen (See attached screenshot). No other software/vr game is affected.

 

VR: HP Windows Mixed Reality Headset

 

i7700k, gtx 1080, 32gb Ram.

I had a similar visual problem last night. Do you have the VR shader mod installed? I totally forgot to uninstall that before updating.

Kegetys have updated the vr mod, works like a charm. Remember to rename/delete those temp folders as described in the readme.txt

I'm not sure if it was necessary, but to be sure that all shaders were updated, I renamed the entire shaders/ folder to shaders.old, then started DCS "bin/DCS_updater.exe repair". Then deleted the content of [user]/Saved Games/DCS/metashaders2

I have this issue too, no mods installed, just running SteamVR Beta. Bit surprised by this issue, haven't seen an official word on it. Is there one somewhere on the forums?

I'd try to delete or rename the metashaders2 folder then. It was after that it worked for me again (along with uninstalling the mod). Worth a shot.
