Impossible to place more than 4 aircraft on Stennis ?

I am unable to place more than 4 aircrafts on the stennis Deck ? Is there a trick I am missing ?

You can place unlimited amount of aircraft on the deck if they’re in their own group. If you keep them in a single group then you can only place 4.

 

If you do place more than 4, you’ll have to be careful how you spawn in, otherwise you’ll have planes spawning on top of others. If all aircraft are asssigned the same spot, hot start them and have each subsequent spawn in taxi away from the spawn spot to another area of the deck for any armament changes etc before taking a catapult position.

Same issue here. 3 groups of 2 in my case. We tried to fly it last night for the first time since the update. Big mess. So I changed the first group to hot pit position 1 and 2, and then the second group to 3 and 4. We didn't have any pilots for the third group so just left it as is. Still had to taxi out of the way to get second pilot of group in the game.

Another problem was while trying different spawn positions the group was moved to a land base. And then I couldn't get it back on the ship!

Is it possible to have a cold jet when starting on the ship?

I only ever use cold starts on the Stennis - Start from the ramp - However, I've only ever been able to place 5 (4 in one, 1 in another) on the Stennis UNTIL this latest Bug release - Now it's 4 and 4 only, regardless of where you try and put them
