According to NWP 3-22.5-AV8B, Vol. II

During aircraft controlled ripple

releases (launcher set to singles) the

interval between rockets from a

single pod is 140 ms, interval

between rockets from different pods

is 110 ms.

With the Single/Ripple switch set to

ripple, the firing interval is 40ms for

LAU-61 and LAU-68 launchers, and

95ms for LAU-10 launchers.

In Razbam Harrier the pods in ripple mode still fire rockets with interval much greater than 100 ms. For example emptying LAU-61 should take less than a second, while in DCS Harrier it takes several seconds.

Incorrect QTY function for unguided rockets

According to NWP 3-22.5-AV8B, Vol. II

5.2.6.6.1 Single/Ripple Switch Set To Single.

The term quantity (QTY) refers to the total

number of rockets to be launched.

5.2.6.6.2 Single/Ripple Switch Set To

Ripple. The term QTY refers to the total number

of rocket launchers from which rockets will

be launched and can never be greater than the

total number of rocket launchers available of the

type selected.

In Razbam Harrier, when launcher is set to single, QTY sets the numbers of rockets per pod, while it should control total number of rockets fired. QTY in ripple mode seem to be completely ignored.

Incorrect MULT function for unguided rockets

According to NWP 3-22.5-AV8B, Vol. II

5.2.6.6.1 Single/Ripple Switch Set To Single.

The term

multiple (MULT) refers to the number of rockets

which will be launched simultaneously and

can never be greater than the number of stations

loaded with the type of rocket launcher selected.

5.2.6.6.2 Single/Ripple Switch Set To

Ripple.

The term MULT refers to the

total number of rocket launchers from which

rockets will be launched simultaneously and can

never be greater than the number of stations

loaded with the type of rocket launcher selected.

The MULT selected can never be greater than

the QTY selected.

In Razbam Harrier rockets pods are fired sequentially, emptying one pod before the next. The relation between QTY and MULT seem to be completely ignored in ripple mode.

Incorrect unguided rockets STRS symbols

When containers are set to ripple, the header still indicates 10S, 19S (S for Single), while the indications on the airframe silhouette are correct (10R, 19R).
