Well I know lockon like others have 3 models..

So when i see the closest model that mean when the bandit close to me, but farest part of close model I cant see the enemy just losing it untill he get alittle closer...

So maybe it possible to fix with config file?

I mean that the closest model will change alittle bit later....

I hope you understood me guys..

here my clipping settings:

near_clip = 0.2;

middle_clip = 2;

far_clip = 80000;

Try these settings, it helped me:):

near_clip = 0.2;

middle_clip = 4.;

far_clip = 60000;

these clipping values dont help in this case.

Those near and medium clip and should be set to 0.2 (or 0.1) for low and 2 for medium because low value of 0.2 will clip off the F-15 air intake when zoomed out (so 0.1 helps there) and for medium clipping.... ever noticed that while line (most noticeable at night) right in front of cockpit? well that one apears with value of 4. Setting medium clip to 2 and it goes away.

If you want high LOD to apear further away increase lod value. I use 4 for this... these are my custom visibility settings in graphics.cfg

near_clip = 0.2;

middle_clip = 2;

far_clip = 100000;

structures = {100, 8000};

trees = {100000, 12000};

dynamic = {300, 10000};

objects = {3000, 50000};

mirage = {3000, 15000};

surface = {50000, 50000};

lights = {200, 30000};

lod = 4;

also

ShadowLevel = 2;

LightsLevel = 2;

MirrorsLevel = 2;

TextureLevel = 2;

WaterQuality = 1;

EffectOptions = 1;

Exhaust = 1;

FogQuality = 1;

SceneFile = "High";

and

LandLodDistances

{

LandDay

{

L01 = 30000;

L12 = 40000;

}

LandNight

{

L01 = 20000;

L12 = 30000;

}

MFD

{

L01 = 20000;

L12 = 30000;

}

and

noisemax = 1;

noisemin = 0;

and

FogParam1 = 12;

FogParam2 = 1;

ObjectFogMultiplier = 0.2;

and I am very happy with these settings running on E6600 @ 3GHz and X1950XTX on 22" LCD at 1680x1050 resolution and 4xFSAA and 4xAF.

Hmm - it seems to be enough for owners of weaker computer like me;)

near_clip = 0.2;

middle_clip = 4.;

far_clip = 60000;

structures = {30, 5000};

trees = {60000, 8000};

dynamic = {300, 20000};

objects = {3000, 40000};

mirage = {3000, 10000};

surface = {14000, 80000};

lights = {50, 10000};

lod = 1.;

true... you can only push these setting as high as your hardware (mostly CPU) allows

Of course... I'm going to make the upgrade just after the BS's release:)
