How to go on MULTIPLAYER????Please help guys!!!!!:-)

I have this Lock On Flaming Cliffs game and I am interested on how to go on multiplayer on it. I go there, but then there are all these different things I have to type. Please guys try to explain to the old man how to play on multiplayer on Lock On. Otherwise, I pretty much understand that Lock On is more of a single player mode game, right?
