ams999 Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 (edited) When aiming at enemy bombers, the Kdo.Ger.40 faces in the opposite direction, the model needs to be rotated by 180 degrees. In the first photo, you see the bombers in the background, the 8.8 cm facing towards, the Kdo.Ger. away from the bombers (all optics facing yourself). In the second pic, the bombers have overflown the Flak, now the optics of the Kdo.Ger. point away from yourself and you see the little step for the operator. Third picture is a historic one, the soldier in the middle is standing on the step to use the main optics.
