Download order help !

Hi,

 

I know this is going to sound terribly stupid but..............

 

I've ordered and paid for a download version of FC on the lockon.co.uk site , I've received the confirmation e-mail but I don't understand how to download it.

 

I've followed the notice in the FAQ and still I'm bafflled.

 

What confuses me even further is that when logged in and I look at "Paymlents" the transaction history says "You have not paid for anything yet."

 

Is it me or is there something fancy I have to do ?

Just to give you a little more info. after the successful payment my browser did not "automatically redirecte to the successful order completion page". Instead it just hung there and nothing happened.

 

Eventually I gave up and consulted my e-mails where I found the notification from Protx with "The unique reference for this transaction".

 

I returned then to http://lockon.co.uk/ and nothing, as if my payment had not been received !

 

So what do I do now ?

After you returned to the lockon website and logged in, there should be a download link and a serial number(marked in yellow) stated under:

 

"Files" -> "Downloads" -> "LOCK ON 1.1b: Flaming Cliffs".

 

If this is not the case, then it sounds like something went wrong between the transaction and the website update(you said the page hung after the transaction had been completed).

 

You may need to contact: team@lockon.ru about the issue - remember to include your transaction ID number.

When I connected to the site today all was as it should be and I was able to download FC 1.1b :smilewink:

 

A quick question though, I notice that there is a patch 1.12b which says "Patch ver.1.12b for Web downloaded english language** version of LockOn 1.1: Flaming Cliffs".Does this mean that it is not compatible with 1.1b or can I still install it ?

If you have a DL-Version of FC, then this patch is the correct one to use for upgrading to 1.12b.

 

There is another patch available for the CD-Version of FC (1.1).

....is the right one for your version of FC :) .
