hi everyone,

i have X56 joystick and i use this profile for F-15

https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1018080/

i do this for make it work's for mx56 because it's x55 profile and logitech software recognize it whitout trouble.

1) Open the default X-56 profile in Notepad or some other editor - we need this to find the correct UUIDs.

2) Open the X-55 Rhino profile for F-15C and save it under a new name.

3) In both files, locate a line that starts with "[controller=". Look at the next line which should say something like "" - this tells you if it is the stick or the throttle you are messing with.

4) Copy the long number, looking like "a878de15-5a3e-44b3-8128-6ccbbe905bd2" (this is the UUID my X-56 Stick uses, not sure if it varies by system or not!) after "controler=" from the X-56 default profile into your new X-56 F-15C profile.

5) Repeat step 4 for the member section.

6) Repeat step 3-5 for the Throttle.

7) Save the profile and load it in the profile editor - you should now have buttons assigned to most things.

where i have trouble is this, it come from the link i put above: " You dont have to do anything within DCS itself, but make sure you got your joystick axis and throttle axis correct in the games options (pitch, roll, yaw and thrust).

i bind axys for throttle and joystick but DCS does not seem to recognize all the other key binding as it is written in the user profile description...

did i have to bind all the key in dcs? did i miss something?

thank's for help

and yes i search on google but i'm not really good in english so maybe i make wrong question.:(

Do your assigned keys work e.g. in Notepad? If your profile is active, it should type something (e.g. empty space when you press a trigger).

If it works there, but not in DCS, then besides assigning the axes in DCS, you must also delete any key assignments for your controller in DCS (e.g. select any row under your controller column, select entire category, delete).

i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg.

DISCLAIMER: My posts are still absolutely useless. Just finding excuses not to learn the F-14 (HB's Swansong?).

Annoyed by my posts? Please consider donating. Once the target sum is reached, I'll be off to somewhere nice I promise not to post from. I'd buy that for a dollar!
