Hi Guys

I am busy putting together my desktop pit. I don't have the space or money to build anything more just yet.

I am really struggling to put it all together in my head and was wondering if you guys out there with desktop pits would mind posting some pics of your setups. Sure I have used Google but ever since they switched their images links to link to the page URL and not the actual image, it is a real pain, normally end up going from Google to Pinterest, and the Pinterest links back to the Google image.

I will also be able to ask for more info on things I see that I might be able to use.

Current setup is:

TMWH Stick and Throttle. (On top of the desk, either side of keyboard.)

Saitek Pedals.

2 x Cougar MFDS

A 3D printed UFC - not to scale, I have designed it the same size as the Cougars.

3D printed button boxes that fit next to the Throttle

My biggest issue is mounting the MFDS and UFS and a place to put the monitor so it still looks kinda reasonable.

Oh my main module is the Hornet and my UFC is based off of that.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys have come up with.

Its not really a good picture as the perspective makes it look like the lower scree is bigger that the view screen but I mounted a monitor below the upper and modified the desk:

picture.php?albumid=1065&pictureid=7084

picture.php?albumid=1065&pictureid=7086

When you are sat there the lower monitor is below the eyeline so it works.

I also did this which shows how bad photo perspective is, 15" monitor to 27" monitor from the side:

picture.php?albumid=943&pictureid=6517

From infront the photo makes them look the same size:

picture.php?albumid=943&pictureid=6519

WHen they are in front of you, it looks fine....

Hi Mr Burns, thanks for the response.

I was at one stage thinking of getting a second monitor, maybe touch, and doing the instruments export, but now that I am actually building button boxes I am not sure.

The more pics I look at for ideas, the more I realise I am going to have to end up building side panels and a centre mount for my stick. I just cant see any other way of doing it nicely. One of my biggest problems is the desk I use is a corner desk, and I still need a bit of space to work on.
