Situations tested: SP Hot airborne black sea MP hot ground PG Problem: Once AP barohold is engaged, it doea not disengage by repressing the button, marker colons are removed but aircraft still behaves as it is engaged. Pressing the stick paddle to totaly disengages the ap allows return to normal opperation. I have to regular flying partners who have also reported simular behavour. Will create a track this evening if I am not beaten to it.
THEBULLSHARK Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Similar Issue I have a similar but not 100% the same issue with BARO A/P. When I select it on the UFC it does not show the colon to the left side of the selection, on top of this it does seem to apply a basic auto pilot that inaccurately (up to 5 degrees of climb or decent variation) implements BARO hold. This happens in every flight I have in the F18 from hot and cold start and on any map. I have tried uninstalling the module and reinstalling it. I am curious if this is a bug or user error on my end. Any advice would be appreciated.
SirJ Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 I do not have this problem since i use the HOTAS button (guess A-key on keyboard?) to disengange the A/P. Maybe you can try it. Never had any problems using the HOTAS methode. PS: I know this is more a workaround than a permanent solution ;)
