MI -8 Skin Help

I am building my first MI-8 skin as my gaming rig is down. and have a few questions I cant seem to find. First is there like a line layout of the skin so you know where you can place some art, so its in right spot and not like wrapping around.

 

second how do I make a version without the engine covers and the wing mounts. I cant find that anywhere.

 

And lastly. I would like to change the patches and helmet color, I tried in an in game skin but it went back to the Russia patch and white helmet same with flight suit. is there another spot I need to go to?? Thanks in advance for the help.

Just don't mount them ingame.

There is a checkbox besides the stores, it's at the top of the list, just uncheck it
