fitness88 Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 Can I please get some information to help clarify the following: p.159 #13 "Spot Light mode. When the TDC designation switch is pressed and held for greater than one second, the RADAR will conduct a 22-degree in azimuth bar scan of the location of the TDC location..." It doesn't seem to work this way, it seems that that when the designation switch is pressed and held for less than one second you have a few seconds of the B-sweep locked onto where the TDC acq. cursor is. Is this written incorrectly? p.160 #21 "Sensitivity Indicator. Indication of RADAR level of gain when detecting contacts. High numbers indicate high sensitivity and low numbers indicate low sensitivity." Is this implemented yet? p.161 "Aft: Assigned TDC to center, MPCD" I can't get the TDC to move to the MPCD. I can get it to move to the HUD, LDDI, RDDI. Is it broken? p.164 "Wide Acquisition (WACQ) is a spaced-stabilized mode and is selected by pressing left on the Sensor Control Switch. Upon doing so, a rectangle is displayed in the lower right corner of the HUD. This rectangle represents the auto acquisition scan pattern and can be slewed using the TDC controller when uncaged. The rectangle is placed on a grid thatrepresents the complete scan limits of the RADAR. WACQ searches for targets out to 10 miles. At Early Access release, WACQ will include caged mode, but uncaged mode will come later into the Early Access process." I can't get the rectangle box to move. Don't understand how caged/uncaged is supposed to work. Thank you.
fitness88 Posted February 27, 2019 Author Posted February 27, 2019 (edited) This isn't a wish, these items are written in the manual and supposed to be implemented in open beta. Is it indicated somewhere that none of what I wrote is currently Implemented. I spent over 2 hours trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong for things not yet working.
