arvz Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 I like to use weapon track camera after launching weapons, mostly cause it looks cool and you get to see the direct results of your actions, but sometimes this view can last 10+ seconds and meanwhile your plane is continuing to fly, but you have no idea what's happening since you can't see. Is there some way to maybe have a picture in picture view where you can have weapon track camera but still see inside your cockpit at the same time? Autopilot might also be an option here, but.. would prefer to be able to continue flying the plane myself if possible

Wizard1393 Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 PIP would be an awesome feature for the weapon follow view. And it should auto snap view so weapon and target always are in view. Just like the closest AC view. GPU: PALIT NVIDIA RTX 3080 10GB | CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K @ 4,9GHz | RAM: 64GB DDR4 3000MHz VR: HP Reverb G2 | HOTAS: TM Warthog Throttle and Stick OS: Windows 10 22H2

Just like the closest AC view. I remember back in the day Chuck Yaeger’s Air Combat having some sort of picture in picture back in the day (far from a simulator, but hey taking an F-4 phantom up against a wing of undefended bombers was always a blast). But yeah would be cool to have a PIP view of the missile (even if not totally realistic neither are external views).
