[UNABLE TO REPRODUCE] Can't assign TDC to the AMPCD by the sensor switch

Pressing the sensor switch aft does not do anything for me, including assigning the TDC to the AMPCD in A/G mode.

 

As per manual:

Sensor Control Switch Aft: When in A/G mode, this assigns TDC priority to Advanced Multipurpose Color Display (AMPCD). When in A/A mode, this assigns the TDC to the AMPCD SA page. If in an A/A ACM sub-mode, this puts radar in vertical acquisition (VACQ). If in NAV mode, this toggles the AMPCD between the HSI, SLEW, and SA pages in that order.

 

Now, some of this may not be implemented yet, but I've seen the TDC being assigned in YT videos.

Are you putting the SA screen on the AMPCD first, before trying to assign TDC priority to it? You can't assign TDC priority to the HSI currently, so if you don't change the screen, it won't work. The last bit on switching screens isn't implemented.

Thanks for that. Yes, it works OK with the SA, but why not with the HSI? I mean the HSI gets selected on the left DDI OK.
