How to make a Switch Selector on a Rotary Dial

I've used this trick for years, and thought I would share.

 

I have an X-55 Throttle. I don't use the stick anymore since I bought a VKB Gunfighter. But the Throttle still works well and with the Saitek Profiler Software it is very functional.

 

Here is an example of using the x55's top Throttle dial to select the different F-14 PDCP Modes(Takeoff, Cruise, A-A, A-G, and Landing)
