Setting up SADL - a few questions

1. So I’d like to get the own and group IDs set up (A-10C). I’ve clicked on prepare mission, then select client #1 spot, hop in the cockpit and set up the IDs, then I click ESC, pick client #2’s spot, do the same with a different OWN ID, click ESC and exit back to mission editor. I then save and exit. Upon restarting and then flying the mission, changes were not saved to the SADL. How to fix?

 

2. When flying a single player mission, I can see other groups of Hornets, F16s, etc on my TAD (A-10C). However, I can’t seem to see other Hornets in MP. Is this normal or is the Hornet not configured properly?
