change the default map icons

When watching streamers like Shiftie, I notice they have a different icon set than the default ones I have that are cleaner and easier to see. How do I get those? Is this a mod or a lua tweak?

In your main settings under the "Gameplay" tab is an "Editor Icon Style" dropdown box... I believe that's what you're looking for.
