AvroLanc Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 (edited) It looks like there's an issue with the HSD Tacan information not being displayed with AWL selected. According to NATOPs and HB manual, the HSD should still show Tacan info in AWL / ICLS / ACLS modes. It's pretty difficult to do a Case III without a Tacan radial and DME, but of course you still need ILS ACLS displays up as well...... Included are shots from manuals and missing info in screenshot. AvroLanc Posted March 24, 2019 Author Posted March 24, 2019 So I guess no one has tried a proper CASE III then.... It’s too clunky without the correct tacan indications on the HSD. Granted you can use the BDHI, but it’s hard to read and not ideal.

Victory205 Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 They are looking into it. The DME on the BDHI is very useful if you embrace it. It's what everyone learned to fly with and got their instrument ratings with in flight school, so it is quite useable. Learn to use it in the interim, because while in TID repeat in tactical situations, it's all you will have. You should turn off your tacan in combat though. ;) Fly Pretty, anyone can Fly Safe.
