Units spawn in different positions when mission is loaded in MP instead of SP

It is a design feature/limitation of MP. I *think* it is so that you can't spawn on the runway when someone is landing on purpose to make them crash into you. So any runway spawn gets set to ramp hot. So if you are making a mission that can be played in MP use either ramp spawns or airborne spawns for AI. Though it does work as expected when used in conjunction with ships/carriers.

 

That said it should place AI at unoccupied parking spots instead of what it did in your track. That part is a bug.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

Thanks for the response! I have to ask one "nasty" question, though: Is this behavior properly documented somewhere? If it is not, there is another bug related to documentation.
