Is Jester Chaffing ?

Hi there , is Jester actually Chaffing when there is a launch on me , there was a SAM launch on me but he didnt chaff , is there an Option in Jester menu to activate this, or is it on by default? I noticed that he Flares when there is a Heater launch , but Chaff i didnt noticed.

set chaff program, Then under defensive command set jester to use chaff program, Depending what your doing, Im A/A so always chaff but pilot can control flare also. If im correct but could be wrong, He activates chaff once you get launch warning. I control flare because he does not always see missiles and i prefer to primitive flare just in case.

After setting chaff program then "CMS Mode Defensive" and then "MAN" is that correct?

I use auto for chaff.

I thought "AUTO" is when the "RWR" takes controll of Chaff, but i will try it , thx for reply.

If you use Auto for chaff then Jester isn't chaffing, the RWR is initiating the program automatically based on some parameters (presumably hard lock). Of course that's a perfectly valid way to use it, but doesn't really answer the question of whether Jester uses Chaff when it's set to "MAN".
