deafaviator Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 When I try to use static weather, it is always extremely local. Everything outside of a very small area shows clear weather, and the desired static weather is always centered on where you are located. You will fly out of it though if you go anywhere. Dynamic weather is better in terms of large scale weather covering the whole map but it almost never produces the type of weather I’d like to see. Any advice?
S D Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Sadly, nope... ED mentioned a weather overhaul a couple of years back, but alas, like the ATC overhaul and many more, no such luck. There is a post around somwhere, where a few dynamic examples, were posted to load in. But even spending ages editing the .lua files, its hard to get decent weather. Cloud density it also a vital problem with dynamic weather, you can set up virtual hurricane conditions and it looks like fluffy clouds and patchy rain. The whole weather system needs scrapping and remade.
deafaviator Posted March 31, 2019 Author Posted March 31, 2019 That’s what I figured. Oh well. Thanks!
