Threeps Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 (edited) I have a triple monitor set up and also use VR. If I have MFD's with LCD screens, can I use Helios to map to them while playing in VR? I plan to look down through the nose gap at my MFD's. ( Unconventional I know) Just curious if VR overrides Helios settings for MFD LCDS. Thanks, Threeps Edited April 2, 2019 by Threeps
Capt Zeen Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 You can use Helios without problems, asuming you can see through the VR device ! Capt_Zeen_HELIOS PROFILES_WEBSITE Capt_Zeen_Youtube Channel
Amahvan Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I'm actually having an issue with this, as helios renders the viewports in my view in vr as well.
Dogmanbird Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 I too would love to know if we can get this to work properly. I've removed the lower padding off the goggles and can see my hands on the joystick, keyboard & mouse. I can easily view a monitor if mounted at knee height which is the plan.
Dogmanbird Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 (edited) With the Reverb G2, unfortunately it appears to disable the viewport exports, though the helios overlay and buttons do work. Has anyone managed to get both to work with VR? Seems this is as far as folk have got (as Amahvan has mentioned) Edited May 31, 2022 by Dogmanbird
