Jester - Target/Picture Information - Improvement Ideas

Hi, make a little bit Dogfight with Jester today. As VR gamer i found him really helpfull, give me the sharp eagle-eyes i dont have.:music_whistling:

 

 

I played the Sidewinder trainingsmission and (cause of VR) i never saw the target. I just follow the directioning of jester and play with the target designator radar to find the target, lock him with the sidewinder and boom.

 

 

Jester is really helpfull in this. But i still see improvements.

 

 

1. He should talk direction changes all the way. Not just "target is 5 o clock" waiiiit for it..... "Target is 9 OClock), More like "target is 4 oclock" "shifting to 3" "he is 2" "12 o clock, kill him!" Look on how helpfull he is while landing, giving the height every 50ft to you. i want the same for target direction for every "hour" :smilewink:

 

 

2. For positioning, Jester only know high or low. But there is a large gab between 500ft higher and 5000ft higher. So maybe let him say pure numbers "enemy 3 oclock, 5" for an enemy 0n 3 clock position and 5000 height. ir if he dont have this precision (he is "human" after all) lets say him additional to high and low, "a little high" and "a little low", when the difference is lower then 500ft.

 

 

 

3. Sometimes i talk to my squadmades while Jester made a call and i dont put attention on him, loosing that information. Or i fly in formation but lost vision on my wingman. It would be very cool to say jester, he should got me a picture with 2 options. Eye vision and radar. So with eye vision, jester look around, scanning the horizon and inform me about everything he see. And same with the radar and datalink information.

 

 

 

This 3 points will help VR User to get a much clearer picture about what happens around him.

 

 

Now i go back flying that genious plane. :pilotfly:
