Hi

In the beginning I believed that it was an issue with the F-14 but the issue I will describe is available with all marine planes or helicopters:

If I make a mission starting on a deck, whatever the aircraft, whatever the carrier ( I've only said carrier, no issue with the Mistral boats for helicopters), when I save the mission, the button "save" stays blue. I must exit DCS. Then I return in DCS and I see that despite this button issue, the mission has been saved. I launch it and it runs ok. But....but....If i try to edit it with the mission editor, it's impossible !!!!! The cursor stops at ng5 during the loading.

Now If I remake the same mission, including the same carrier, the same aircraft but with the player's aircraft starting from a land runway, no problems: I can edit the mission as I want, I can play the mission and all is fine. With the F-14, I've made the try to take-off from Batumi ( start cold and dark) and I've landed on a carrier I've put just near Batumi: No problem. Then, in the same flight, I choose to hook the F-14 to the catapult and took off from the carrier without issue. But if then, I open the mission with the ME and decide to put the F-14 on the deck of the carrier: It's over! The issue described at the top of this post, is back again !

Some help please !!!!!

Forget I think I've found the issue :

I've deleted from the Tech directory, all directories beginning by "CrazyEddie" and all became quite normal after !

These directories concerned the 4 carriers ( Roosevelt, Lincoln, Washington and Stennis )

I've kept all other CrazyEddies mods without problems .

I've done further investigations:

By deleting the 4 carriers as I said previously, things are better but not perfect.

Now I can edit a mission starting on a navy deck but only if the carrier isn't moving.

If I add waypoints to the carrier, the issue returns and I can't edit anymore. However, I can launch the mission but I can't modify it anymore.

Do you have this kind of issue ?

A french citation says:

"we are never so well served as by ourselves"

With the big amount of help answers I had on this post, I've searched and I think having find the guilty.

I had installed a mod called "planes spawn anywhere" and it was this mod which caused the issue.

With all the help I had on this post, I could keep the solution for myself but if it can help someone, one day having the same issue.....
